Opening Times

Stonehenge is generally open daily. For exact times and dates, check the main English Heritage site. It uses timed tickets, so booking in advance is the best way to guarantee entry at your preferred time and day.

Additional Notes: Last admission is 2 hours before closing time, with the site closing promptly 20 minutes after the advertised closing time.

Entry is free for English Heritage Members. There are different pricing levels for Adults, Children, Families, Overseas Visitor Pass, and Group Visits. Prices are subject to change, so check the latest information.

Accessibility Information

Access: Paths are on tarmac and grass around the outer circle, subject to weather conditions. One wheelchair is available at the entrance kiosk upon request.
Parking: Reserved parking for disabled drivers near the entrance, with the ticket office accessible via a short, sloping tarmac path.
Visually Impaired Visitors: Braille and large print guides are available upon request. Touching Stones is accessible at the main entrance.
Hearing Impaired Visitors: Audio tour with a hearing loop in nine languages, subject to availability.
Toilets: An adapted WC for wheelchair users is located in the large toilet block at the far end of the car park.
Refreshments: Light refreshments available at the Stonehenge Kitchen.
